[Lucent Heart][News] Multi-clienting Issue in Suba LH

After the update of rules section of SubaGames Lucent Heart (https://subagames.com/LucentHeart/rules_of_conduct.aspx) many player argue about these new rules and one of them is about multi-clienting*.

"18. You will not operate more than one Lucent Heart game client at a time from the same computer for use in PvP gameplay of any kind. Any use of multiple Lucent Heart game clients from the same computer or Internet connection which is found to be malicious, disruptive, or in violation of any of the Lucent Heart Rules of Conduct, will be subject to suspension or termination."

GM Edricus confirmed that multi-clienting is allowed, limited to 3 accounts from same computer at a time, assuming one main account and two alt accounts.

"We are currently exploring issues behind allowing players to multi-client outside of PVP. We suggest all players IMMEDIATELY cease using MORE then 3 clients at once." -- Rolling in-game announcement.

-------------------------------------------
*) Multi-clienting is an act using multiple client running at the same time in one computer. Switching between clients can be done using alt+tab. Many players use multi-clienting to make market stalls, praying alts, even kill-farming for PvP title.

[Lucent Heart][Guide] Koutetsu's Solar Guardian Guide

Solar Guardian Guide by Koutetsu.

Source: Experience and such.

Introduction:

The Solar Guardian is one of the most versatile classes, you can build it in more than one way and it will still be useful. The usual weapon if choice is the two handed sword, but you can do with shield and sword as well.

In comparison to other classes you will, almost always, have lower damage, but that doesn't mean you don't pack a good punch. The SG has several stuns and skills that can help him/her do critical hits, and faster attacks than other classes, which makes up for the lack of range and damage. In addition, it is the most soloable class due to a much higher defense rate and health (Besides the CT).

The SG's mortal enemy is the magic damage classes, because we lack magic defense. Against a mage, it mostly comes down to who hits first. There's a way to counter magic that I will talk about later.

Now down to the stat bussiness:

For starters, and for begginners that don't know much about stats yet, STR isn't very useful. It does raise your damage, and I wouldn't say that the difference isn't noticeable, but the other stats work much better (In my opinion and many, many other SG's).

About CON, it's useful, raising your HP helps your soloability, but it's mostly good for PvE, Most of the times your HP will be ok without getting extra CON from embedded items and enchantments, but no one stops you from getting more.

DEX... ahh DEX, it raises your chance to dodge, and to turn a critical hit into a normal hit. DEX is one of the most useful stats for a SG for both PvP and PvE. In PvE, with a high enough DEX, enemies will miss you most of the times, making it great for soloing dungeons. In PvP, criticals hits at higher lvls are the way to go, cause crits do WAY more damage than a normal hit, and being able to turn a crit into a normal hit makes the attack almost, ALMOST, tickle you... I mean it does low damage.  (Sidenote: This only works for PHYSICAL attacks, magic will still turn you into a burnt potato).

SPI. Now comes the alternative for SGs against mages. SPI does almost the same as DEX, but against magic, which helps turn magic crits (And magic classes crit a LOT) into normal magic attacks. Beware though, that some magic attacks will still hit hard even if it's not a crit, but we have the HP to withstand that. SPI will also help with our annoyingly low mana regeneration.

PERC. This is the most popular stat because it raises your critical chance and hit chance. For an SG, it's useful of course, though personally, I think we have enough stuns (stuns raise critical chance) to make up for it, specially if you go for a damage set that gives better perc, but it's proven pretty good against DEX builds if you go full perc, since it also raises your accuracy, and devastating against whatever else. I'd say it's a great build too.

INT. No, just no.

If you're using a shield, you'll have the block stat. Blocking a hit will cut down the damage, and of course a blocked hit can't be a critical. Try using a heavy shield for a higher block stat, though some people also get light shields for the magic defense, even though the block is lower (You can switch anyway in combat, so you can get both).

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now about skills, the following are very important and you should probably get them, or else... I mean it.

Onslaught: Dash stun, DASH... STUN. It also deals pretty good damage, usually the combo starter against ranged enemies, or against most enemies at that. Did I mention it's a freaking dash stun?

Guardian's Rage: This wonder gives us even more crit chance. After doing a critical hit with this buff on, you have 50% cchance of putting the enemy in a state where it's 75% more likely to be critted.

Crushing Blow (Only 2 handed sword): This is the high damage skill that you should always use after a stun, criticals with this are devastating. *you can skip it if you're not planning on using 2 handed*

Relentless Assault (Only 1 handed sword): The damage is lower than Crushing Blow's, but it has half the cooldown. It's the 1 handed alternative. *you can skip it if you're only planning on using 2 handers*

*Use both if the last 2 if you want like to switch between both weapons, it'll hurt your wallet though*

Toughness: Get this no matter what, it raises your HP a lot if you max it.

Shield Slam (Only with a shield equipped... duh): Does fixed damage, but it's still good when you crit with it, also stun! Yay!

Fissure: It does pretty bad damage if you don't upgrade it, but you you don't need to, the main point is that it's a long stun. I'd say get it!

Then the AoEs, these are mostly useful for mobbing:

Whirlwind: Regular AoE, not that much damage in my opinion unless you keep it upgraded, but it's what we have.

Crippling Cleave: Usually goes before Whirlwind, it doesn't stun mobs but it has that 75% crit chance debuff.

Blade Dance: Finisher. I usually use it after Whirlwind. If the enemy is below 30% HP it deals additional damage.

Vengeful Blade: Must have for boss fighting. Lowers the enemy's defense and raises crit damage against it by 10%. Stacks 5 times (50%+ Crit dmg).

Other useful skills:

Executioner's Blow: Finisher. Additional damage if the enemy is below 38% health.

Shield Stance: Awesome if you're using a shield, raises your block chance, but makes you slow.

Rupture: Damage over time. Stacks twice and it's nice to have if you ahve deep pockets and lots of mana, cause you're gonna need to lvl it a lot for it to count.

Rend: I just use this as a mana saver. It's only 2 MP to use so when I'm low, I can spam it to do faster dmg, even if it's low.

Taunt and Provoke: Single and AoE lure skills respectively, they're not pretty effective unless you keep them maxed.

Charge: Dash to another position, upgrade it for a farther distance. It's good to run away in emergencies, or get to those pesky mages/gunners when you're onslaught is cooling down.

Battle stance: I'd only use this at PvE, it increases your attack speed, but also your vulnerability to critical damage. Too risky to use it in PvP.

To be continued (Maybe)...

[Lucent Heart][Guide] About Equipments, Mounts, Pets, and Utilities

I made this guide based from experience, observation, and Hardrain LH Wiki. (It's in Japanese so it will take some time to extract information from there)

Before we start, there are some points you should remember.
- You don't have to precisely follow the equipment pattern suggestion. You can always experiment by yourself based on data provided here.
- Always improve your production skills. If you want to save the trouble of asking (and pay) people to post an OEM to make desired equipment, use your own production skill. [Blacksmithing] for Weapons and Knight Armors, [Tailoring] for  Gunner and Spellcaster Armors, [Mechanics] for Weapon Enchantments, [Jewelry] for Accessories. These skills will be critical for development of your character starting Level 35 / Production level 7.
- Item rarity determines its quality. It can be seen from its name color. In general, mostly used rarities sorted from best one: Red (rare), Yellow (rare), Orange (rare), Purple (rare), Blue, Green, White. Most people use Orange Set at best, because Red and Yellow Items doesn't really worth the time.
- Standard crafted equipment have blue names and we can learn the schematics of purple and orange equipment to make them, it also have a chance for better quality rank: [Fine], [Exceptional], [Perfect], [Dream Item].

Then let us begin.

Getting Equipments
During early start, you don't have to worry about equipments because the [Starry Sky Treasure Box] will give you armor starting at Level 7 (Blue), 15 (Purple), 20(Purple), and 25 (Purple). The level 25 purple is good enough until level 40 but you can also craft a new set of armor at level 35 because the stats of level 33 crafted equipment stats are better than your purple level 25 set. Don't bother crafting weapons until level 40 because we'll get a weapon after finishing level 36 JC. It's green--just like common equipment shop items, but it has good quality with additional effects.

You can start crafting your own armor at level 40-45. from here on, the equipments you can make is divided into 2 categories:
- A set with more [con], [dex], and [spi] which will boost your survival.
- A set with more [int], [str], and [perc] which will boost your offensive abilities.
Choose the equipment based on your job and style.

==========[This part is not implemented in subagames LH yet]=========

At level 30, you may notice the NPC who gives you KREs shows an option "Go to ---- Training Ground". You can do some instance quests here to collect badges you can trade with various items and equipments. Just check the NPC there. You can trade for purple or orange equipments. You will be able to do this until level 40, as at level 40 you will be told to go to [Whispering Grave]. There, you can find similar dungeon grinding quest. At level 50, the training ground is in [Witch's Cliff].

===================================================================

At level 50, go to [Stormy Shore] and you'll find two NPC sides: [Turbine] and [Hammerstone]. They will provide you with some incremental quest to collect certain certificates which you can trade for level 50 purple armors, level 55 weapons, or level 50 accessories from one family.
-Turbine equipment have more raw damage, critical damage, str, int, and perc.
-Hammerstone equipment have more con, dex, and spi. they also increases defense against critical attacks and gives more attack speed compared with the turbine equipment.
To get a whole set (head, chest, pants, gloves, and boots) you need 145 certificates and 187 [sixth elements].

Below is the most used equipment choice players made in beanfun LH based on jobs:
[Job] [Weapon] [Armor]
[SG] [Turbine] [Turbine/Hammerstone/Mixed]
[CT] [Turbine] [Turbine/Hammerstone/Mixed]
[CM] [Turbine] [Turbine]
[NS] [Turbine] [Turbine]
[MFE] [Turbine] [Turbine]
[GS] [Hammerstone] [Hammerstone]
[DP] [Turbine] [Turbine/Hammerstone]
[SC] [Hammerstone] [Hammerstone]

Cert equipment will help you survive until level 60. You can start looking for purple and orange crafting schematics starting 55. There's an easy-to-obtain purple armor recipe for level 60 and if you want to go even stronger, you can try looking for orange level 55 - 60 recipes from certain star core instance dungeon or field bosses.

Another alternative is when you do instances from shops, level 55 instances might give you [Core of Genesis] and level 60 instances might give [Core of Void]. these cores can be traded at [Black Market] for purple equipment, though the quality isn't as good as crafted purple equipment.

Before you get to live in [Minotsize City] area at level 65, you'll still be fine using blue-named crafted equipment.

You should get purple level 68 armors even if you have level 60 orange armor which is WAY better, because during normal PvE use, durability drains fast. You can save your best equipment for PvP this way. Also may want to update your weapon every 5 levels and bring more than one weapons
(I used to bring 4 2h swords, 1 1h sword, 1 shield, 1 gun, 1 staff, and 2 set of armors as a SG)

There's also level 70+ rare equipment which is hard to get, and you have to kill many player in GvG to get level 75 orange schematics and materials. But since it's really hard and VERY expensive to make, very few level 75 (current maximum level cap) player possess these equipment. Most of them wear level 66 purple armor or just fully upgraded (+10) and enchanted level 60 orange armors.

Equipment Enhancements
You can improve the performance of your equipments through these methods:
1. Upgrading
You can upgrade your equipment using upgrade crystals. [Ares Crystal]* for weapons, [Gaia Crystal]* for armors, and [Hera Crystal]* for accessories. Normal upgrade crystals are sold in [Well of Silence - Black Market]. The safe limit of upgrading is 3 levels. After that, there's a risk of failing the upgrade process. The crystals descriptions tells you what will happen to your equipment if you fail, depend on the grade of the crystal used*.
*there are various grades of upgrade crystals: pure, blessing, elegant, and praying
2. Enhancements
Enhancements can be plumes, gems, crests, or mechanical parts. Gems usually contain bonuses useful for magic users. Crests contain bonuses for knights, and mechanical parts can only be used on guns, which is useful for gunners. Jewelers can make gems and crests, and Mechanics can make mechanical parts. You can also get them as KRE reward.
Unlike those three, plumes can only be obtained from purgatory places by collecting [Essence of Mutation] and trade them.
List of purgatory places:
-[Realm of Ares/ Realm of God of War] (level 40+)
-[Witch's Cliff] (level 50+)
-[Hephaestus Tableland] (level 60+)
-[Ashen Ravine] (level 70+)
Careful that these enhancements cannot stack each other.
3. Enchantments
Enchantments gives various effects and it stacks with the enhancements previously mentioned. You can get them from Item Mall. The popular ones are [War Enchantment], [Snipe Enchantment], and one enchantment for mages (forgot the name)

Mounts
Mounts are somewhat important in-game, mainly to improve movement speed. Normal mounts can only be used out of combat, and if you receive a critical hit (monsters almost always hit criticals) you'll be dismounted automatically. You'll receive a [7-day Alpaca Sculpture] mount after creating your character. After that you might stick using the [Warg] which can be bought from [Beast Tamer] for 4000 gold. It only adds 40 MSPD and i'm sure it's frustrating. Starting level 25 you can do daily quests from [Foreman] to get [Green Point Collection Coupon] maximum of 5 coupons per day. Collect 40 coupons and you can trade them with [Shadow Warg Sculpture] mount which adds 100 or 80 (forgot) MSPD with improved dodge at [Curiosities Dealer]. 200 coupons and you can get the triceratops mount, with chance to block incoming attacks. Some mounts can be used by 2 person like the [Pumpkin Carriage] or [Unicorn]

There are also battle mounts. Battle mounts greatly reduces the chance of being hit by critical attacks, you can attack or use skills while mounted, and it can be used either in or out of combat. The most popular ones are horses. [Dark Night Wrath] and [White Frost Wrath](the white version of dark night wrath with better effects and level improvement). Horses greatly improves dodge rate against critical hits and gives you more chance to land critical hit. You can get them from [Item Mall] or [GM Events].

You can use your mount to participate in racing, which gives you points to trade with useful items. The rarer the mount, the better it performs in racing.
There's still many more mounts available in [Item Mall].

Pets
Non-combat pets hover around the player, giving passive skill and status benefits to their owner when summoned. This type of pets requires food and certain food gives them experience to level up and change their color. There's also zodiac-themed pet in this category at the [Item Mall] which gives great benefits to its owner. You can learn a skill to summon multiple non-battle pets you own and adjust their formation.
Non-combat pets can be divided into Spiritual Bond and Divine Bond. The common non-combat pets are spiritual bonds. The example of this category is [Pisces Austrinus] from a story quest around level 25, [Cygnus] from [Cupid], [Andromeda] from [Good ol' Charlie], and zodiac-themed pets. Divine bonds can only be bought from mall and they have greater effects than spiritual bonds. You can only summon one of these pets at a time, unless you learned the skill from [Unique Dance Instructor] to allow you summon up to 4 non-combat pets simultaneously.

Combat pets will follow the player and can be ordered to use skill or attack enemies. These pets doesn't require food and will gain experience from battles and quests completed by the user when the pet is summoned. Gunners are given a [Wild Wolf] battle pet during their job change at level 10. You can also buy [Moonlight Frog] from [Beast Tamer], or you can trade certain number of coupons from dailies to get some other pets at [Curiosities Dealer]. I suggest to collect 999 [Nice Person Cards] and 999 [Happiness Cards] and trade with [Otherworldly Beast] at npc [Good ol' Charlie] near the church in any city. This pet have a skill that will help physical attackers score critical hits. There are arcana-themed pets which is really powerful at the [Item Mall].

You can summon both non-battle pets and battle pets simultaneously.

Utilities
You can buy some useful items for use in GvG or PvP using [Knowledge Points]. You should try to get the permanent (infinite use) [Melancholy Branch] and [Freeze Fire] for PvP. Both are used to stop enemy movements. Branch ensnares enemies around you for few seconds, and freeze fire disarms one target enemy while channeling the item.

Curiosities Dealer, Arena Administrators, Cupid, Joyful Mailman
There's a NPC in every city called [Curiosities Dealer]. You can trade useful items from usable items into equipments there using [Green Point Collection Coupon], [Knowledge Points], [Dance Points], or [Racing Points]. You can also check the other NPC mentioned above for more item trades.

Miscellaneous
Additional items you should try to get is the [Ring of Greed] (Orange Lv. 50 Ring Accessory). You can get it by defeating [Heidegger]. The commander NPC from [Anteacar] in the monster form. You can find him inside [Traitor's Fort] in [Coast of Siren] you have to complete certain story quests to be able to enter the dungeon.
There are some items can be traded at [Curiosities Dealer] which can improve item drop rate significantly. more than 50% in total. Maybe over 70%. It will really help in farming.
